Although we will be celebrating Christmas differently this year, there are still many events going on in and our our community for you and your family to enjoy during the month of December.
Teen Ranch is hosting the Christmas Winter Festival, a drive-in event where you can enjoy over 30 3D Christmas holograms from the comfort of your own vehicle. Enjoy listening to Christmas music sent through FM radio transmitters why taking in the all beautiful displays. There will also be live nativity scenes on weekends for you to enjoy. The festival will be running from December 1st thru December 27th. Cost is $20 per vehicle. Hot chocolate, apple cider and gingerbread will also be available for a small cost at the gate.
Shop With Purpose is hosting Santa Zooms. Register for an uninterrupted 10 minute zoom call with Santa. Calls will take place on Friday, December 4th & 11th between 5pm-8pm. Each call costs $40, with $5 from each call donated to Dufferin Child & Family Services. Parents are also able to purchase the Magic Package for an additional $30 each. Have a present magically delivered to your front door that includes 1 slime, 1 nice button, 1 crayon set and a keychain that have been donated by local businesses in our community.
The Mom Market of Orangeville and Boston Pizza are hosting Shopping Around the Christmas Tree, an outdoor Christmas market. If you still have some shopping to do, support local and check out the 40 vendors at the market. The market will be held on December 5th, 11am-2pm.
Headwaters Fitness & Racquet Club is hosting its annual Kids Night Out Christmas PJ Party on December 11th, 5:30pm-8:30pm. Kids, ages 4-12, have the opportunity to get out and enjoy dinner and snacks while being in their comfy jammies. Cost is $25 per child plus HST, or $20 plus HST for 3 or more siblings. Covid 19 Summer Camp protocols to be followed and masks are required.
Black Wolf Smokehouse is hosting T’was The Weekend Before Christmas – Tattoos ‘n Whiskey. Enjoy an evening out with good food and music on Saturday, December 19th 7pm- 10pm. Tickets are $15 per person with a maximum of 4 people per table. Tickets must be purchased in advance as well as food orders are required. Masks must be worn when entering the restaurant and when leaving your table.
