If your home has a fireplace, whether it’s gas or wood burning, annual maintenance is extremely important, not just for efficiency but for safety.  If you are handy, you may want to tackle this job on your own.  Remember safety first!  Make sure to allow the unit to completely cool before you begin anything, and for a gas fireplace remember to turn off the gas supply.  However, if you would prefer to have a professional to do the job, we would be more than happy to refer to you to one of our preferred partners.
