Are you looking for some holiday activities to do with the family this December?  Here are a few things going on around Dufferin County in this month.

The Orangeville Optimist Club presents the 27th Annual Christmas in the Park at Kay Cee Gardens.  Performances include Theatre Orangeville Youth Singers and the cast from Orangeville Music Theatre’s Elf Jr.  The Peruvian Alpacas and the big man in red will be making an appearance every Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.    There will be many performances over the course of the month including a Sing-A-Long with Norma on December 15th & 22nd, 6:30pm-8:30pm and Travelling Wannabees on December 10th & 12th at 5:30pm.  The park is open nightly until December 31st from 5:30pm-10pm.

If skating is something you enjoy, this is for you.  There is a FREE skate sponsored by Tim Hortons on December 28th at the Tony Rose Memorial Sports Centre, 1pm-1:50pm and 2-2:50pm.  There will also be another FREE skate on New Year’s Eve, December 31st, 1pm-6pm.  Skating starts every hour.
